How to Use the Wirestock Discord Bot to Make Money With AI Art

With the proliferation of AI-based tools, making art (or at least similes of it) has never been easier. All you have to do is plug in a simple query into an AI like Midjourney, and you can get an image in pretty much any style you want in seconds. And with the advancements in image processing, you can even make money with AI art by selling it online. An app like Wirestock Discord bot (or the dedicated online version) can make the process a breeze.

Part 1 – What Is Wirestock Discord Bot and How to Install It?

Wirestock is an online stock image platform, similar to Shutterstock, Pixabay, and many others. Simply put, it allows creators to post images on a global marketplace. Whenever someone wants to download an image to use it, they will pay a fee to Wirestock, which is then passed onto the creator. Wirestock Discord bot is an “upgrade” to the system. It essentially integrates the platform to Discord, which allows you to make images in a more intuitive environment. Then, the bot can automatically upscale and upload the image to your Wirestock portfolio.

Here’s how to install the bot:

Step 1. Go to the Wirestock bot page.

Step 2. Hit “Add app” on the right.

Step 3. You’ll be forwarded to the Discord login page. Use your account credentials or scan the QR code via your phone to proceed.

Step 4. Choose a server where you want the bot to be, then click on “Continue.”

Step 5. Authorize the bot to read the message history and send messages (check both boxes) and click “Authorise.” Confirm the captcha when prompted.

The bot is now on the server. Note that you need to have admin access to the server (or at least be able to add new members).

Part 2 – Configure the Bot

You’ll also need to create an account with Wirestock to be able to access the marketplace.

Step 1. Go to Wirestock and sign up for an account.

Step 2. Choose how you want to create an account. For ease of use, you can automatically create an account with your Discord credentials.

Step 3. Choose how you plan to use Wirestock (selling option is the most likely, but you can also just choose to generate art).

Step 4. Click on “Skip” in the top-right corner.

Step 5. Select your account avatar on the top-right and go to “Account settings.”

Step 6. Copy the Discord token shown in the menu.

Step 7. Go back to Discord. In the server where you inserted the Wirestock bot, type in “/login” and paste the token you copied, then hit Enter.

The bot is now ready to start making or upscaling images.

Part 3 – Using the Wirestock Discord Bot

The simplest command that the Wirestock Discord bot responds to is “/imagine” followed by a textual prompt.

Here’s an example of an image generated from the prompt “futuristic city surrounded by water with skyships in the air.”

Note that the prompt also contains other settings. The bot replies with three images, with the option to upscale or “reroll” the AI creation for each one.

Upscaling generates a higher-resolution image.

All you have to do now is click on “Sell on Wirestock,” and the image will be automatically added to your portfolio.

This is the first step towards learning how to make money with AI art. The rest is up to you and how well you can navigate Midjourney’s documentation and prompt capabilities.

Note that you’ll need a Premium Wirestock account to make the most out of the tool, as it will allow you to actually submit images to the marketplace and start earning.
