How To Join a Clan in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal players start alone as the game teaches them everything they need to know. Eventually, the ability to join a Clan is unlocked after reaching Level 30, but there are some conditions to remember before doing that. The main advantage of joining one is having Clan members to assist you if necessary.

How To Join a Clan in Diablo Immortal

For those who want to learn how joining a Clan works, look no further. The system can be slightly confusing for players, but you’ll understand the fine print later.

How to Join a Clan in Diablo Immortal

Once you reach Level 30 in the game, a quest called “Opening the Way” becomes available. You can find it in Wortham, specifically the Bounty Board there. Complete it, and you can immediately join or create a Clan.

The process of joining an existing Clan is as follows.

  1. Open the Main Menu.
  2. Click or tap on the Adventurer Tab.
  3. Select the “Clan” option.
  4. Go to “Clan Details.”
  5. Look for a Clan you’re interested in.
  6. Interact with the “Apply” button.
  7. Wait for a Clan officer’s approval.
  8. You’re now a member after they accept you.

Depending on the Clan, the request can be accepted immediately or take a longer time. If the application doesn’t receive a response, you can chalk it up to the Clan being inactive. That’s okay, you can look for another one with the same steps.

Creating a Clan

Alternatively, you can make a Clan of your own and wait for other players to fill the ranks. Besides reaching Level 30, there’s no significant additional restriction on creating one. There is a cost of 100,000 Gold, but that’s not difficult to earn.

When you meet these two requirements, here’s what to do next.

  1. Bring up the Main Menu.
  2. Head to the Adventurer tab.
  3. Click or tap on “Clan.”
  4. Look for “Clan Details.”
  5. Select the “Create Clan” button.
  6. Start making your very own Clan.

Remember that even if you created a Clan, becoming a Shadow will kick you out of it. After an incident where the game did this without warning, a player lost access to the Clan he paid actual money for.

Joining or Creating a Dark Clan

Dark Clans are the only option for players who join the Shadows faction. The requirements for being in one are different from regular groups.

  • Reach Level 43
  • Get Akeba’s Signet by winning the Shadow lottery
  • Clear the Shadow Mettle quest
  • Level the character to the first Apprentice rank
  • Beat Akeba’s Challenge
  • Pay a fee of 3,000 Platinum

The Assembly is a Shadows solo activity in which you can only participate on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It lasts from 2 PM to 10 PM server time, and during this period, you can earn Akeba’s Blessings to share with other Shadows and get Marks.

Becoming a Shadow is only the first step to joining or creating a Dark Clan. There’s much grinding and farming ahead, but the rewards are worth it.

Only during The Assembly can you join or create a Dark Clan. An existing normal Clan can also be converted into a Dark Clan, but the process will cost only 250 Platinum.

Dark Clans have extra features not found in others, and there’s no disadvantage in joining one. After getting everything you need, you can easily apply for one.

Once you join a Dark Clan, the “Shadows” button will replace the “Adventurer” button in the Main Menu. That’s how you manage your membership.

Leaving a Clan

If, for any reason, you want to leave a Clan, there are two main ways to do that. You can do that as a member or a leader. Both processes aren’t too different.

Members can consult these steps.

  1. Go to the Main Menu in the game.
  2. Head to the “Adventurer” tab.
  3. Tap or click on “Clan.”
  4. Head to “Clan Members.”
  5. Look for the “More” button.
  6. Select “Leave Clan.”

Once you perform these actions, you’re a free agent again. You can now apply to other Clans or make a new one if inclined.

Leaders have two ways to leave. They can either appoint a new Clan Leader or dissolve the Clan entirely.

Appointing a new leader tends to be the best step since the members might want to stick together. However, if there are less amicable feelings, you can decide to dissolve the Can so everyone can go their separate ways.

Neither of these actions would impose a penalty on you, no matter if you were a leader or a standard member. Therefore, you can come and go as you please.

Welcome to the Team

Being part of a Clan is usually beneficial since you have allies ready to help you if you ask. There are no penalties for leaving one either, so there’s no genuine commitment required. Nevertheless, a good Clan will help you improve as a player in many ways, so you lose nothing.
