Luckily, there is an easy method of making the text stickers vanish. The first step is to add text to your video.

  1. Record your TikTok video or select a video from the gallery.
  2. Press the checkmark icon at the bottom right.
  3. Click the “Text” icon in the top-left corner of your screen.
  4. Type the text you want to add to your video.
  5. Customize your text by selecting the text style, alignment, and font if you’d like.
  6. Press “Done” in the upper-right corner.

A text box will now appear in the center of the screen. If you were to publish the video now, the text would stay there throughout the video. So, let’s make sure the text disappears on your command.

  1. Tap the text box.
  2. Select “Set duration” from the pop-up menu above the text box.
  3. Drag the slider to adjust when the text appears in the video. The text will be displayed in the area highlighted in red.
  4. Tap the checkmark icon at the bottom right.
  5. Once the text sticker appears in the correct portion of the video, long-press and drag it to the preferred position on the screen.

Basically, the text will disappear whenever it’s not covered by the red area. You can add as many text stickers as you’d like. Simply repeat the steps for each line and adjust the red zone accordingly. You can even have multiple text stickers appear and disappear simultaneously, with varying positions on the screen.

How To Make Text Appear as You Talk in TikTok

Storytimes are undoubtedly one of the most popular video formats on TikTok. They’re pretty engaging and are usually filled with twists and turns.

Transcribing your storytime TikTok is one of the ways you can make the video enjoyable to as many people as possible. The text will appear as you talk, so deaf or hard-of-hearing viewers can easily follow along.

Add Captions Using TikTok’s Built-In Feature

TikTok added an auto-caption feature as part of its commitment to fostering a more inclusive environment. This makes it easy to caption your videos and make them accessible to more people.

Once you’re satisfied with your TikTok video, tap the checkmark at the bottom right. You’ll be sent to the editing screen, where you can add final touches to your video. Among other things, you can add captions by following these steps.
