Instagram AI tools can’t quite manage that, but they can make your life easier and help you boost your following faster. How? By providing inspiration, creating video content for Reels, and generating original captions aimed at your audience.

Follow these steps to integrate Instagram AI tools into your social media strategy.

Leveraging Instagram AI Tools for Inspiration

Step 1: Choose any generative AI tool, for example, Microsoft Copilot.

Step 2: Give the generative AI tool a prompt. For example, here the user has asked for 20 topics on beauty and skincare to inspire them.

Step 3: Review the topics and decide which you will use for your Instagram posts, stories, or Reels.

Step 4: Use the inspiration to create unique content, for example, a series of posts on the role of sleep in skincare using the points from topic 17. Add the posts to Instagram and monitor how they perform.

Using an AI Tool to Make Instagram Reels

Step 1: Choose a design tool that utilizes generative AI for video content. For this example, we’re using Canva which has free and low-cost plans. Other options are available. On Canva, the option for AI video is Magic Media.

Step 2: Enter prompts for your video content. On Canva, you can enter five words. For the sleep topic, these could be beauty, sleep, health, vitality, and skincare.

Step 3: Press Generate (or Generate again if you’ve already made a video) and wait while the progress bar completes. This may take several minutes.

Step 4: Click the video to add it to your design. You can now add other elements like frames to make it more eye-catching on Instagram.

Step 5: Click “Share” at the top right corner of the screen then “Instagram” to post the video. If you have a business Instagram account, you can use Instagram AI automation tools to schedule your video for later. You can schedule multiple videos this way to save time and effort.

Integrating AI Tools for Instagram Followers: Attracting a Bigger Audience

Step 1: Source a generative AI tool to create Instagram captions. Microsoft Copilot works but for this example, we’re using ChatGPT. Users can create an account for free making it highly useful as a social media tool.

Step 2: Ask the AI tool what hashtags are most popular for your audience. For example, “What are the top trending hashtags in Beauty and Skincare on Instagram?”

Step 3: Now ask the AI generator to create 20 short Instagram captions about the importance of sleep for good skin, incorporating those hashtags.

Step 4: You can now incorporate those captions into your Instagram posts. Double-check any facts or figures for accuracy and “camel hump” any hashtags with upper-case letters to make posts more readable.
