1. Launch GroupMe.

4. Tap “Members.”
   
5. Choose the person to remove.
   
6. Confirm you want to delete them.
   

It’s also possible to remove multiple members from the same group:

1. Click on the group avatar.
   
2. Tap “Members.”
   
3. Once in the group chat, locate the three dots.
   
4. Tap “Remove Members.”
   
5. Check people to be removed.
   
6. Confirm that you want to delete them from the group chat.
   
   

How to Block Someone on GroupMe?

If a GroupMe member is bothering only you, there’s a way to block this person without removing them from the group:

1. Launch GroupMe.
   
2. Sign in if you aren’t already signed in.
3. Tap the three vertical lines.
   
4. A menu will open with different options. Choose “Contacts.”
   
5. Click on the member you want to block.
   
6. Select “Block Contact.”
   
7. Confirm that you want to block the person.
   

Now that you’ve blocked this contact, they won’t be able to bother you through private messages. But keep in mind doing this doesn’t remove them from the group. Furthermore, they can still send messages to that group.
